By accessing or using the Alpha Frontiers Guidance Engine ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or guardian has consented to your use of the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service is a university application counseling platform that provides tools for managing application essays, tracking test scores, logging extracurricular activities, and researching universities. The Service is provided by Alpha Frontiers, based in Tokyo, Japan.

3. Account and Access

• You must sign in with a valid Google account to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account
• Access to the Service is provided at the discretion of Alpha Frontiers and may be granted or revoked at any time
• You agree not to share your account access with others or attempt to access other users' data

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create through the Service, including essays, test scores, activity logs, and other application materials.

By using the Service, you grant Alpha Frontiers a limited license to store, display, and share your content as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., sharing essays with assigned editors for review).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit plagiarized content or content that violates the academic integrity policies of any university
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the operation of the Service
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service

6. Essay Review Services

Essay review and feedback are provided by human editors assigned by Alpha Frontiers. Review turnaround times and availability are not guaranteed. Feedback is advisory — final decisions about essay content rest with the student.

7. Google Services

The Service uses Google Sign-In for authentication and Google Docs for essay writing. Your use of these Google services is additionally governed by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Alpha Frontiers does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific application outcome will result from use of the Service.

University admission decisions are made solely by the universities. Alpha Frontiers is not responsible for admission outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Frontiers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
